Sports day at Kestrel house
We were delighted to bring Sports Day back to Kestrel House School after a number of years, and we look forward to making it a regular part of our school calendar once again.
Although we were disappointed to cancel the outdoor event and parent invitation due to last week’s extreme heat, the safety and wellbeing of our learners and families had to come first. Thank you for your understanding.
A huge thank you goes to our PE Lead, Elaina, whose dedication and careful planning made the event such a success. For weeks leading up to Sports Day, Elaina worked with learners to build the skills, confidence and familiarity they needed to participate successfully, ensuring every learner had the opportunity to achieve and enjoy the experience.
For our learners, Sports Day is about so much more than physical activity. It promotes confidence, communication, teamwork, resilience and wellbeing, while celebrating every learner’s individual achievements in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment. We are incredibly proud of all our learners for taking part and giving their very best.
