Sweet Tree Farm

Kestrel House would like to extend a huge thank you to Sweet Tree Farm for inviting us down to their site for a free session with their team. Waterloo and Hampstead classes were greeted by the amazing staff who held engaging workshops on animal husbandry, horticulture and environment and wildlife. Our learners were able to explore the farm, meet the animals and had the opportunity to feed them! The staff at the farm were Makaton trained and were therefore able to communicate effectively with our learners. Each learner left the farm with their own potted plant to nurture and grow at home.
