Diwali 2022

In collaboration with Pimlico Class, Diwali this year was a big celebration. We set up various tables in the school hall, each with a different activity based on the theme of Diwali. The children were encouraged to take part in arts and crafts, face paitning, food art, sensory trays and also trying cultural foods. Needless to say the learners loved the activity, with each class having their own dedicated time slot to avoid busy crowds and too much noise. Gentle music was played throughout the morning and the learners were allowed to play with colours and glitters to embrace the holiday. Staff all wore colours of the indian flag and it was lovely to see Kestrel so full of colour and fun.
