As a school for learners who have ASD, it is vital to our curriculum and community that we teach our children to celebrate who they are. The Kestrel House balloon release is something we do every year to show our learners that they should be proud. Each balloon had the school logo and contact details to help others reach our community who may be in similar situations to our families.
This year we had previous Haringey Mayor’s attend, alongside local MPs and religious figures. Some of our amazing parents came to celebrate with their children as we congregated in the car park to release dozens of bio-degradable balloons into the air.
