Family support at one of our autism schools in London.
We're here to give support to parents - not just the children
At Kestrel House School a key aim is to offer our parents ongoing support and advice. Kestrel House School staff operate an ‘open door’ policy so that parents feel free to phone the school and make an appointment to visit us whenever they need to.
Parents have access to the specialist advice and knowledge of the staff. Ongoing training and support sessions are available to all parents/family members. Parents are:
- closely involved in the setting of targets for their children
- encouraged to attend termly parent’s evenings
- are able to contact their child’s class teacher through a home/school liaison book
- always invited to come in to visit
Monthly Parents Coffee Morning
Kestrel House School has an active Parents Group, which enables parents to get to know each other, to meet the staff and to provide ASD training/advice. All parents are welcome - please contact Sylvia in the school office if you would like to attend by either calling 020 8348 8500 or emailing admin@kestrelhouseschool.co.uk.
